In the series premiere of this comedy about two friends pursuing their dreams, aspiring actress Georgia (Raven-Symoné) and her loving friend Jo science (Majandra Delfino) move from south to New York and rented an apartment Aunt Georgia (Loretta Devine).
State of Georgia, a production of ABC Studios, is a multicamera half hour comedy series starring Raven-Symoné as Georgia, an aspiring actress with a personality larger than life and science geek's best friend to try advance in New York City.
State of Georgia will be the executive producer Kirk J. Rudell and Jennifer Weiner (author of the bestselling novel "Good in Bed" and "In Her Shoes" (Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette starred in the film version of the same name). Majandra Delfino (Roswell) also stars as Jo and Loretta Devine as Aunt Honey.
